If you have a boat and share our vision, consider transporting some supplies for us or volunteering some of your time!

 

 

Make a difference while you sail the world

 

We know there are many smart, skillfull, compasionate people cruising around the world, and we want to help you put your skills to good use.  Our goal is to link up sailors with NGO project coordinators in order to provide ongoing help to island communities in need.  

Here are a few examples of how you can help:

 

• Conduct surveys of schools and villages and spread the word about our work

• Transport medical supplies or offer your medical skills to an orphanage in Il a Vache

• Volunteer at a turtle sanctuary

• Help out at a beach clean-up with local school children

• Build composting toilets

• Develop efficient cooking projects    

• Propose a new project in a community you've visited

Joining OceansWatch links you to a community of like-minded sailors, divers and academics who all work together towards common goals.  You're sure to make new friends and have experiences you'll remember for a lifetime.

 

As a support yacht, you will also be eligable for discounts from our sponsoring organizations on a wide range of sailing necessities, ranging from paint to insurance.
